President Joe Biden and First Lady Jill Biden released their 2022 federal tax reports, revealing their income and owed taxes.
In 2022, their adjusted gross income was $579,514, $400,000 of which was Joe Biden’s presidential wage. Jill Biden earned $82,335 from her job at Northern Virginia Community College, and the remainder of their income came from book royalties and a variety of public and private economic investments.
The Bidens also donated $20,180 of their income, around 3.5%, to 20 charities. The most notable donation was a $2,000 cash contribution to the Fraternal Order of Police Foundation. Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband, Doug Emhoff, also revealed their tax report for 2022, showing a gross income of $456,918 and $93,570 in federal income tax.
